Join us for the Rouxlette 2026 Gumbo Cook-Off, a fun-filled day of cooking, competition, and celebration! Compete for prizes including Grand Prize, People's Choice, and Booth Decorating Contest.

Entry Fee: $150 per 4-Person Team for Gumbo Cook-Off; FREE for Cookie & Brownie Bake-Off

Gumbo Rules

• Cook on-site from scratch (no mixes or pre-made roux)
• Minimum 2 gallons
• Seafood allowed (post notice)
• No rice/pasta in judging samples
• Ready for judging at 2 PM

Event Schedule

• 8 AM - Set Up
• 9 AM - Head Cook Meeting
• 12 PM - Public Entry
• 2 PM - Judging
• 3 PM - Awards
• 6 PM - Clean Up

What to Bring

Propane stove and fuel, fire extinguisher, pots, utensils, tent, decorations. Electricity may be limited—plan to cook without it. No ground fires.
