Honoring Suzonne Lawrence

Inspired by the formative experiences of the Lawrence family, where working outdoors and caring for animals instilled discipline, patience, accountability, resilience, empathy, and a strong work ethic in the younger generation, The Grass Menagerie aims to extend these benefits to the broader community.

The foundation honors Suzonne Lawrence by continuing her passion for hobby farming and animal care, transforming it into opportunities for youth development.

Our Goals

We strive to achieve the following objectives to support local youth:

• Partner with local FFA chapters to provide resources and hands-on agricultural experiences.
• Encourage leadership, responsibility, and a strong connection to the outdoors through meaningful work.
• Cultivate the next generation of capable, compassionate, and community-minded individuals.
• Offer opportunities for growth and character development inspired by real-life animal care and farming responsibilities.
• Promote values such as hard work, empathy, and resilience that extend beyond agriculture into all aspects of life.
